Well wow, the last 100 days has gone by in a flash! I started my '100 Happy Days' journey back in November, to read more about the challenge and what it involves you can read my 100 Happy Days Challenge Blog post here...
My #100happydays journey is now complete! (When looking through the posts of my journey I realised that I didn't number them properly & actually should have finished a few days ago! Hahaha, I totally & shamelessly blame baby brain).
This challenge has been one of the most helpful & rewarding challenges I have ever set for myself.
I am for the most part a very happy & positive person, & am pretty good at practising gratitude, but this has reinforced and helped me with this on a much more conscious level.
I've had a lot of ups & downs throughout the last 100 days, and focusing on finding something to bring me happiness not only helped me recognise my blessings, but also forced me to do things for myself to bring a bit of happiness into my day when there might not necessarily have been any, or I may not have necessarily put the effort in to practise some self-love or self-care.
It's helped me deal with grief, family problems, pregnancy blues, & has been a lovely experience...
I highly recommend giving it a try! It has been very transformational, up there with journalling, writing gratitude lists, and so on.
It helps you to focus positively, and harness the power of positive thought. It also helps you to be more creative, thinking about ways to express your happy moments in picture form! (Especially if, like me, you are not great at taking lots of photos!)
